Domestic Health Policy Reform
Faced with a rapidly aging population, a growth in non-communicable diseases, and threats to health crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic, Japan’s health system needs to adapt to a new generation of complex challenges, which affect health outcomes, health inequality and the sustainability of Japan’s universal healthcare system. We contribute to the debate about the future of Japan’s health system through data analysis and policy discussion and formulation with government and health industry stakeholders.
